Oki Memchip

Your memories,
in your hand.

Memchip is the credit-card-sized storage for Oki Home. It holds your digital life and keeps it physically yours, in capacities from 2 TB to 16 TB.

What Memchip is.

Memchip is the removable storage module inside Oki Home. Everything Oki remembers for you lives on it: photos, messages, documents, the timeline it builds from them, and the context your AI works with.

It is about the size of a credit card and sits in a protected bay in the bead-blasted aluminum enclosure. Your data is not an abstraction in someone else’s data center. It is an object you can hold.

Choosing a capacity.

Memchip is available in 2 TB, 4 TB, 8 TB, 16 TB. The launch batch includes a 2 TB Memchip in the $1,799 price, and the storage can grow to 16 TB.

  • 2 TB covers most personal libraries of photos, documents, and messages.
  • Larger capacities suit years of video, large photo archives, or shared household use.
  • Memchip upgrades cost extra. The total price is confirmed before your final payment.

When you reserve, you can note a Memchip preference. It is a preference, not a commitment, and you confirm the final choice before purchase.

Inside Oki Home.

Oki Home uses M.2 NVMe solid-state storage, so the model and the workspace read from Memchip at speed. The local AI model runs over this data 24/7, organizing what arrives and keeping answers ready, with nothing uploaded for analysis.

Why physical ownership matters.

Cloud storage is rented. Terms change, prices change, and access depends on an account staying in good standing. Memchip is the opposite: a thing you own, in your home, holding the memory a memory computer works from.

The AI that understands that memory runs locally, so the data on Memchip and the intelligence over it share the same roof.
